The Department of Labor periodically issues center status updates. As these updates occur, center assignments will be temporarily restricted for paused centers. In Gateway, you will see a "paused" status under training and program selection. The “pause” status only impacts the physical arrival of NEW students to Job Corps centers. All other services (e.g., outreach, admissions) will continue during the “pause” of a center. If a center is later removed from the paused list, it will become available again for selection in Gateway.
Applicants with housing instability may be assigned to a paused center if the Regional Office has given permission. If approval is granted, please reach out to the MyJobCorps Help Center for assistance assigning the applicant to center.
