AFR User Roles
Staff responsible for AFR processes have been assigned to one of the following user roles in MyJobCorps Gateway, based on their job responsibilities:

Records Manager (CRM)

AFR Rollout Details
The phased rollout of AFR in MyJobCorps was based on geographic region. Reference the key dates for the transition period from CIS to MyJobCorps in the Rollout Details Table.
There will be a transition period which will require you to perform your AFR activities in CIS for your old cases and in MyJobCorps for your new cases.
- This means that you will work in CIS for your cases received up until the day before your AFR Go-Live Date and you will continue to complete only these cases in CIS until the student has arrived at center.

Starting on your region's AFR Go-Live Date, you will get new cases in MyJobCorps Gateway. You will work on these cases in MyJobCorps Gateway and should not process AFR activities in CIS.

In CIS, for cases that have been assigned to your center after your AFR go-live date, the Pending Arrivals comments field will display:

Rollout Group 2
Centers aligned to Group 2 (Boston and Atlanta geographic regions) are onboarding onto MyJobCorps Gateway on Monday April 27th.
Transitioning from CIS to Gateway
For a short period of time, you will be working in both MyJobCorps Gateway and CIS.
- Starting on Monday April 27th, you will start receiving cases in MyJobCorps Gateway. These cases should ONLY be processed in Gateway. You will see these cases on your OA Arrivals screen in CIS – do not work on them in CIS.
- Any case in your CIS queue received before Monday April 27th should continue to be processed and completed in CIS.
Rollout Group 3
Applicant File Review (AFR) is going live for Rollout Group 3 (Dallas and San Francisco geographic region) centers on May 4th!
Transitioning from CIS to Gateway
There will be a transition period which will require you to perform your AFR activities in CIS for your old cases and in MyJobCorps for your new cases.
- This means that you will work in CIS for your cases received up until May 3 and you will continue to complete only these cases in CIS until the student has arrived at center.
- Starting on May 4, you will get new cases in MyJobCorps Gateway. You will work on these cases in MyJobCorps Gateway and should not process AFR activities in CIS.
Rollout Group 4
Applicant File Review (AFR) is going live for Rollout Group 4 (Chicago and Philadelphia geographic region) centers on May 11th!
Transitioning from CIS to Gateway
There will be a transition period which will require you to perform your AFR activities in CIS for your old cases and in MyJobCorps for your new cases.
- This means that you will work in CIS for your cases received up until May 10 and you will continue to complete only these cases in CIS until the student has arrived at center.
- Starting on May 11, you will get new cases in MyJobCorps Gateway. You will work on these cases in MyJobCorps Gateway and should not process AFR activities in CIS.
