This user guide is for the following MyJobCorps user roles: Admissions Representative (AR), OA Manager (OAM)
Overview
Before you can request a background check, an applicant’s identity and the provided application information must be verified. This step ensures the accuracy of the application and reduce delays in eligibility processing, including receiving background check results. You can quickly identify applications requiring verification by checking the Application Verified column, visible on the Home and Search views.
The Verify Application checklist automatically checks off items as they are completed, which includes:
- Interest has been confirmed
- All required fields in the application are complete
- All Agreements are signed (this includes parent/guardian signatures for minors)
- SSN/TIN has been verified
Review Application
Review and validate the information provided under the Application tab. Check to ensure all required fields have been completed and are accurate. The checklist will guide you through what actions are still required before you can verify the application and will automatically update as steps are completed.
Select the tool tip to learn more about the item that needs to be completed and refer to the Edit Application guide for more information on updating application information in Gateway.
