The MyJobCorps New Feature Micro Training: 3.3 Release was conducted on January 27th, 2025. It provided details on the updates and enhancements MyJobCorps include an improved applicant experience in Portal, additional data to further identify duplicate cases, an improved document management in Gateway, and the inclusion of arrival data under Reports. Portal Updates
- Improved Applicant Experience: Applicants are prompted to upload supporting documents and see their completed steps and what else is needed. A new click-to-sign feature makes it easier for applicants to sign digital agreements with their legal name. Learn more about MyJobCorps Portal.
Gateway Updates
- Location-Based Filtering Options: Filter cases by zip code to speed up prospect assignments.
- New Applicant Information Number (AIN): Search cases by AIN and use this ID when working with the JACS team on background check inquiries.
- Identify Applicants with Multiple/Duplicate Applications: Leverage new fields on the Readmissions Check, including Application Tracking Number (ATN), case status and milestone details to help identify duplicate applications. Learn more about the Readmissions check.
- New Background Check Request Banner for Multiple/Duplicate Applications: The system will flag if a background check has already been requested and prevent further submissions within 120 days, to help reduce rejections from JACS.
- Improved Document Management: View status indicators that show where documents are accepted, rejected, submitted to E-Folder, require a parent/guardian signature, or require acceptance. This makes it easier for Admissions staff to confirm that all required documents are provided and accepted prior to QA review.
- Access to Arrival Data: Track students who have arrived on center, offering real-time updates for Admissions staff. Learn more about using Reports in Gateway.
