Happy New Year! Welcome to the first edition of the MyJobCorps Monthly Newsletter. Each month, we look forward to sharing important information, new enhancements, and helpful resources with our users. Before we look ahead, we’d like to highlight a few achievements this year, made possible by your dedication and adoption of the MyJobCorps system.
MyJobCorps 2024 in Review
MyJobCorps completed the National Rollout across all centers in September. As of December 2024, we’ve reported:

500,000 Interested Applicants submitted their interest in Job Corps.

115,000 Applicants submitted their application in MyJobCorps Portal.

211,200 Cases were assigned to Admissions Staff in MyJobCorps Gateway.
-
10,900 Cases were processed through to enrollment by Admissions Staff in MyJobCorps.
-
60 Training and Support sessions were held by the MyJobCorps team for Admissions Staff.

MyJobCorps NewsMyJobCorps recently established the Power Users Series, creating a collaborative environment for Admissions staff to share experiences and insights while using the MyJobCorps Platform. The team looks forward to incorporating Power Users’ feedback into the development of new features and enhancements. |

MyJobCorps System Features: Reminders & Tips
Check out these tips for using MyJobCorps based on commonly asked questions:

Use the Reporting tab in your Gateway Dashboard. When viewing the Reporting tab, you’ll see a list of reports available based on your role. The Pending Arrival Report allows you to track the center status for assigned cases, number of days since assigning case to center, and anticipated arrival date.

Verify the Social Security Number with the applicant during the application verification step to avoid background check delays.

Track progress of your background check request. the Monitor Background Check Statuses section in the Perform Background Checks user guide. Please note that background checks may take up to 14 business days to process.

Allow 24 hours for a file to transfer from Gateway to CIS. If the center is still not seeing the case in CIS after 24 hours, you should submit a Help Desk ticket.

Review the Help Center guidance page for items being worked on by the technical team.
MyJobCorps at Your Service
The MyJobCorps Gateway Help Center is a comprehensive online resource for all your support needs, including training materials, how-to guides, frequently asked questions, and more. If you require personalized assistance, you can use the Contact Us form to submit a support ticket. Our dedicated support team will respond within 2 days and can help with questions not answered in the user guides, like information on specific cases.
Need to create a Help Desk ticket? The more you tell us, the more we can help. When creating a ticket, be sure to:

Add the theme of the request in the subject line (e.g., background check or new account request)

Include ATN and applicant name(s)

Include a screenshot of any errors

Manager Corner

Important Reminders:

All readmit waiver requests require concurrence from the OA Manager and approval from the Regional Director to grant the readmit waiver. Do not select Permitted to Proceed before all approvals are received.

Managers are responsible for onboarding and offboarding their staff. Access to MyJobCorps Gateway is typically requested during onboarding for new admissions staff. If you have new staff, please request access to MyJobCorps Gateway by contacting the MyJobCorps Help Desk.
