Manage Alerts

This user guide is for the following MyJobCorps user roles: Admissions Representative (AR), OA Manager (OAM), Center Records Manager (CRM), Health and Wellness Reviewer (HWR), Regional Director (RD), Regional Disability Coordinator (RDC), Regional Health Specialist (RHS)

Overview

The Alerts tab provides specific notifications to Gateway users based on their user role. User alerts indicate important case information or required actions a user must take to move the case through the workflow in Gateway.  

Alerts are intended to help you stay on top of case activities and is not used as a management or auditing tool.

Orient to the Alerts tab

  • Your Alerts tab is located on the left navigation bar when you log into Gateway.
  • Bolded text indicate the alert is ‘unread’ by you. 
  • Normal text indicate the alert has been ‘read’ by you.
  • Unchecked and Checked boxes are located to the left of the ATN. You can mark a box(es) and use the ‘Mark Read’ and ‘Mark Unread’ buttons, as applicable.
  • Mark Read button is located in the top right of your screen. You can use this button to mark an ‘unread’ alert as ‘read’ to help you manage your alerts page.
  • Mark Unread button is located in the top right of your screen. You can use this button to mark a ‘read’ alert as ‘unread’ if you want to handle the alert later.
  • Search allows you to an alert by entering the Applicant’s name or ATN.
  • Type allows you to filter the contents in your Alerts Table for a specific workflow milestone. You can save the filtered view by click on the Manager Filters icon.

Understanding the Alerts Table

  • Application Tracking Number (ATN) is a link to the case file. Click on the ATN to go to the case.
  • Applicant Name is provided for easy reference. 
  • Alert Message provides a short notification regarding an important case milestone or an action you must take. 
  • Days Since indicate the number of days that have elapsed since the alert was sent to you.

Alerts remain Unread until reviewed and marked as Read.
