3.7.1 Release Notes

Date of Release: October 3, 2025

Gateway

New Features & System Updates

  • Agreement Signature Dates in Portal now update automatically upon applicant submission or resubmission, removing the need for Admissions Representatives to manually handle agreements outside MyJobCorps.
  • Improved document viewing and management for Admissions staff in Gateway, enabling faster and easier review by adding a “View by Category” and a “View All” option that lets users move efficiently from one document to the next with previous/next buttons and a left-hand navigation menu.
  • Improved the viewing of image files and photos so that Admissions staff can zoom in/out and rotate when needed. This is helpful for when applicants upload images directly from their mobile device.
  • Enabled COR access to the Staff tab in MyJobCorps to view contact details of all staff at Admissions providers they oversee, aiding in follow-ups, issue resolution, and operational needs.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed SSN/TIN verification step so that the Verify Application workflow correctly displays Verify SSN when an applicant has SSN data and omits it when they only have TIN data.
  • Removed the incorrect yellow banner stating “looks like another open case exists” for a new re-application on a previously closed case, now only appears for actual duplicate open cases.
  • Resolved Save and Exit during Eligibility issue that incorrectly reverted the Workflow Milestone to Application Verified; the milestone now stays at Eligibility Determined as expected.
  • Updated the Staff grid to display phone numbers in the standard (xxx) xxx-xxxx format, ensuring consistency with individual staff pages.
  • Resolved a UI error when rejecting a Readmit Waiver for applicants with over 730 paid days; the Readmissions page now handles these cases without error.
  • Ensured that selecting “Yes” for the Ticket to Work program in Portal now appears correctly in Gateway's Personal Circumstances section.
  • Fixed Background Check button issue that was not clickable if the check’s status was Canceled; the button now reactivates correctly, allowing action on canceled background checks.
  • Ensured that when a case is withdrawn while in the QA Review Requested milestone, the workflow milestone reverts to Eligibility Determined and the case is removed from the Admissions Staff home view queue.
